'As I Think About my Savior' is a supplement to personal scripture study and prayerful supplication, that adds another layer of understanding to what we already do quite naturally. It has been designed as a tangible platform upon which we might build and strengthen our witness of Jesus Christ, and has been created to motivate us to rededicate ourselves to remain His disciples, and as an exhortation to be true and faithful to our covenants. As a companion to our study of the scriptures, it can be a shield of protection as we face the harsh realities of an unforgiving world, provide balance and harmony as we study the scriptures, and invite the Spirit to safely guide us through the minefields of mortality. We can avoid doctrinal dead ends and conceptual cul-de-sacs, counter the moral vacuum and ethical emptiness of today’s irreligion, give luster to the breastplate of righteousness, polish to the whole armor of God, and add finishing touches to our faith.
