The introduction of AI into journalism is rapidly changing the landscape of news production by making it more efficient while reshaping journalistic practices. The book investigates the level of awareness and adoption of AI technologies among journalists in relation to news quality and ethical considerations. Results show that while the AI tools have the potential to automate routine tasks, enhance data analysis, and support fact-checking, they also raise serious concerns about algorithmic bias, transparency, and job displacement. The book reveals that news organisations need to invest more in training, establish ethical guidelines, and foster cooperation among journalists and technology experts. Responsible use of these challenges lets media companies use the full potential of AI for better journalistic integrity and audience engagement.
