Il settore automobilistico è importante nel panorama industriale brasiliano, in quanto coinvolge una catena significativa di fornitori, distributori, officine, agenzie pubblicitarie e assicuratori nel mercato nazionale, oltre a essere uno dei cinque più grandi al mondo, generando posti di lavoro e portando sviluppo al Paese. In questo contesto, il presente studio utilizza il metodo del Valore Attuale Adeguato (APV) per analizzare il flusso di cassa di un’azienda automobilistica che si è recentemente insediata in Brasile e vuole approfittare degli incentivi governativi proposti dal programma Inovar-Auto. Il lavoro svolto valuta l’attuale flusso di cassa della casa automobilistica in modo stocastico modellando variabili come il prezzo, la domanda e il tasso di interesse utilizzando distribuzioni di probabilità e con l’aiuto del software Crystal Ball, un add-in di Microsoft Excel, generando diversi scenari mediante simulazione Monte Carlo.
