Dans ce livre, les performances paramétriques de l’épurateur à venturi auto-amorçant sont analysées pour des conditions de fonctionnement submergées, principalement pour la chute de pression et l’efficacité de l’élimination de l’iode, à l’aide d’une série d’expériences. Pour éliminer les polluants gazeux (iode) des gaz contaminés lors d’accidents graves, l’épurateur venturi est utilisé dans le système de ventilation de l’enceinte de confinement filtrée (CFVS) des centrales nucléaires. L’efficacité de l’élimination de l’iode par l’épurateur à venturi est déterminée en mesurant la quantité d’iode dans l’eau, sur la base d’un titrage iodométrique avec un pH distinct de l’eau. L’effet du gonflement de la piscine est également étudié à l’aide d’une étude hydrodynamique.
