Este libro expone la sistematización del aporte a la Teoría de las investigaciones socioculturales realizadas por los estudiantes y profesores de la carrera Gestión Sociocultural para el Desarrollo en los Trabajos de Diploma del Centro Universitario Municipal (CUM) del municipio de Camajuaní, Villa Clara, Cuba. La carrera de Gestión Sociocultural para el Desarrollo, asentada en el Centro Universitario Municipal de Camajuaní, ha desplegado en los últimos años una intensa labor científica, formativa y transformadora. A través de investigaciones aplicadas y acciones extensionistas, ha incidido tanto en los sectores comunitarios como en los procesos empresariales locales. A partir de un enfoque metodológico mixto, en el libro se identifican y analizan los principales ejes temáticos abordados por estudiantes, profesores e investigadores del CUM, vinculados a la Universidad Central 'Marta Abreu' de Las Villas. Los resultados evidencian el impacto de la gestión sociocultural como estrategia de transformación comunitaria, con énfasis en la Soberanía Alimentaria y Nutricional, el patrimonio cultural, la salud comunitaria, el turismo local y la participación social. El estudio reafirma la importancia del vínculo universidad-territorio en el diseño y ejecución de las investigaciones con el logro de una gran pertinencia, a nivel local, desde una perspectiva integradora, participativa y emancipadora.
