Questa ricerca ha un approccio investigativo alla situazione di rischio e vulnerabilità sociale della popolazione anziana senza fissa dimora nella città di Franca - SP. L’obiettivo della ricerca è quello di trovare modalità di approccio alla situazione di vulnerabilità sociale degli anziani che vivono per strada in questo comune. In questa indagine si è fatto ricorso a ricerche bibliografiche, documentarie e sul campo, svolte presso la Casa di Accoglienza Temporanea 'São Giuseppe Moscati', al fine di avvicinarsi alla realtà studiata. Il metodo adottato durante la ricerca si è basato sul materialismo storico-dialettico, con dati raccolti attraverso domande semi-strutturate. Abbiamo cercato di arricchire lo spazio teorico del soggetto studiato, contribuendo così a monitorare le diverse situazioni di vulnerabilità sociale delle persone senza dimora, che è una delle espressioni della questione sociale.
