Das vorliegende Buch befasst sich mit der Untersuchung der Anwendung der Partikelschwarmoptimierung (PSO) in der LCMV-Beamforming-Technik (Linear Constraint Minimum Variance), die das Signal-Interferenz- und Rauschverhältnis, die Datenraten, die Nullsteuerung und die Abdeckung des Mobilfunksystems verbessert. LCMV richtet seinen Strahlungsstrahl anhand von Gewichtsvektoren auf das gewünschte Signal aus, die anhand des empfangenen Signals berechnet werden. Die von LCMV berechneten Gewichte sind jedoch in der Regel nicht in der Lage, den Strahlungsstrahl präzise auf den Zielnutzer auszurichten. Daher wird in dieser Forschungsarbeit PSO in die bestehende LCMV-Technik integriert, um die Gewichte von LCMV zu verbessern.
