The hydroethanolic extract of Dactyloctenium aegyptium showed significant anticancer and anthelmintic potential. Phytochemical screening revealed presence of phenols, tannins, alkaloids, saponins, terpenoids, and flavonoids. FT-IR and GC-MS analyses identified key bioactive compounds with anti-arthritic and anticancer properties. The extract demonstrated antioxidant activities and inhibited growth of A375 cancer cells in vitro. In silico analysis confirmed molecular interactions of key compounds with cancer and helminth-related proteins. Further molecular studies are recommended.
