Cet ouvrage présente l’analyse de sensibilité et l’application de la méthode de décomposition de Laplace-Adomian (LADM) à la résolution d’un modèle de paludisme d’ordre fractionnaire utilisant la dérivée fractionnaire de Caputo. Un modèle compartimental déterministe décrivant la dynamique de transmission du paludisme, conduisant à un système de huit équations différentielles ordinaires, a été développé. Des analyses fondamentales du modèle, notamment la région invariante et la positivité des solutions, sont menées. L’équilibre sans maladie s’avère localement stable lorsque le taux de reproduction de base est inférieur à 1 et instable dans le cas contraire, comme déterminé à l’aide de la méthode des matrices de nouvelle génération. Des solutions approximatives pour le modèle d’ordre fractionnaire sont obtenues sous la forme d’une série infinie à l’aide de la LADM, qui converge rapidement vers la solution exacte dans des conditions appropriées. Afin de prendre en compte la dynamique réelle du paludisme, l’estimation des paramètres est effectuée à l’aide de l’algorithme fmincon de MATLAB, en utilisant des données réelles sur le paludisme issues de la littérature existante. La méthode LADM combine la transformée de Laplace et la méthode de décomposition d’Adomian.
