El presente artículo realiza un análisis documental sobre el impacto económico de la paz en países que han atravesado conflictos armados internos prolongados, tomando como casos de estudio Sudáfrica, Irlanda del Norte y Colombia. A través del examen de indicadores macroeconómicos clave como el Producto Interno Bruto (PIB), el PIB per cápita y el Índice de Desarrollo Humano (IDH), se identifican los cambios ocurridos antes y después de la firma de los acuerdos de paz en cada país. El estudio demuestra que la consolidación de la paz genera condiciones favorables para el crecimiento económico y el desarrollo humano, aunque el grado de impacto varía según el contexto institucional, político y social de cada nación.
