A análise socioeconómica mostrou que o endividamento era mais elevado nas grandes explorações agrícolas do que nas pequenas e médias. As grandes explorações agrícolas também se dedicavam mais às atividades agrícolas do que as outras. Toda a posição patrimonial, receitas, despesas e poupanças estavam positivamente relacionadas com o tamanho da exploração agrícola, mas as receitas não agrícolas estavam negativamente relacionadas. A análise do balanço patrimonial mostrou que todas as explorações agrícolas se tornaram capazes de gerar um património líquido positivo, que foi mais elevado nas grandes explorações, seguidas pelas pequenas e médias em termos percentuais. Os resultados da análise dos rácios indicaram que nenhuma das explorações agrícolas era totalmente sólida do ponto de vista financeiro. No entanto, no máximo sete rácios eram favoráveis às grandes explorações, seguidas pelas pequenas e médias.
