Le traitement parallèle est une forme efficace de traitement de l’information qui met l’accent sur la manipulation simultanée d’éléments de données appartenant à un ou plusieurs processus résolvant un problème unique. Il a un impact considérable sur de nombreux domaines d’application informatique tels que les simulations informatiques pour les applications scientifiques et d’ingénierie, les applications commerciales d’exploration de données, le traitement des transactions, etc. C’est l’une des approches connues aujourd’hui pour rendre le calcul possible. Les systèmes hétérogènes créent des opportunités et des défis illimités dans les domaines du traitement parallèle, de la conception d’algorithmes, du partitionnement et du mappage des tâches parallèles. Dans le mappage des tâches parallèles, l’ordonnancement joue un rôle important. Ce livre propose trois algorithmes : l’algorithme d’ordonnancement dynamique orienté tâches (TDSA), l’algorithme d’ordonnancement dynamique basé sur la duplication des tâches (DyDupSA) et l’optimisation dynamique par colonies de fourmis (DyACO). L’algorithme TDSA utilise le concept de migration, DyDupSA applique la duplication et la migration et DyACO la méta heuristique pour minimiser le makespan et maximiser l’utilisation du processeur. Parmi les algorithmes proposés, l’algorithme DyACO surpasse les autres algorithmes.
