“All  Things Work Together for Good” was my first novel. Initially, it started on Facebook. I posted the first chapter. Jokingly, I made the comment, “here is the first chapter to my first novel.” Several people responded and challenged me to finish it. I followed through only to write nine other novels since then. “All  Things Work Together for Good,” is faith-based. While a fiction, it takes place during the terrorist attacks of 9/11. Some of the stories written were truly based on personal testimonies. When reading this work, I encourage you to pay attention to the symbolism shared. For instance, Julie encounters Jesus three times. The question begs to be asked, “What is so significant about the number three?”  The answer is Biblical. Jesus questioned Peter three times regarding his love for the Lord.  This is significant. Julie had to encounter Christ three times before she understood the concept of forgiveness. Like 9/11, no one knows what to expect or when to expect it. Though it is a faith-based work, it also a drama, a love story, and a book for the reader to ponder. This work has several twists and turns. Yes, there are some surprises. The real shocker, though, comes at the end. For me to say anything from this point is to say everything. I pray you enjoy this work. More importantly

Stuart Evans’s first novel is a comedy-of-ill-manners set in a nouveau riche milieu: a fantastic satirical performance and hyper-referential homage to masters past and present. Paul Keller is the Stephen Dedalus of the piece, the son of Robert and Sylvie, whose internal monologue is spliced into the action, and whose incestuous feelings for his sister lead to an increase in his...

The Whispering Woods is a culmination of my education in criminology and victimology and my experiences in counseling. Of all novels, this one in particular is different from my previous books. It is a murder mystery. Though the majority of the book is fictional, the details regarding serial killers are fact. Certain characteristics are defined and described based on interviews...

For centuries, romance stories have captured the hearts of so many readers. There is something about the passion between people that captivates others. Maybe, in part, that people longed to be loved and to love. Many spend their entire lives in quest of one of the most powerful emotions known to man. Most people get a glimpse of it from time to time; others may be so fortunate ...

No Holds Barred: No Holding Back” is a personal testimony. When I first sat down to write, I made two promises. The first was to be open and honest about who I was and what I did. For years, I felt as if I were wearing a mask: as if I was not genuine as a person, a parent, and as a pastor. The skeletons I buried resurfaced. Trust me, this promise was demanding, especially when...

“I Existed” is a very compelling story, lots of plot twists and waves of emotions...suicide, incest, teenage pregnancy, rage, love, hate, forgiveness...The author pretty much covered it all! It is an easy read but I have to be honest, I’m not sure I like the ending I understand the point the author made, but it left me with no closure. All in all, I enjoyed reading the book but...
  • The Widow’s Web Unwoven

Originally, “The Whispering Woods” started out as a single work. However, friends encouraged me to continue it as a series. What started out as one work quickly became a trilogy. It was my intention to write each piece independent of one another. That is, the reader did not have to read one without reading the other. Publishers encouraged me to combine all three works into one....
