Celem niniejszych badań jest obserwacja sposobu traktowania dziedzictwa nowoczesnego, które czasami ulega zmianom, od odwracalnych, częściowych lub całkowitych zmian charakteru, aż po wyburzenia. Praca ta będzie stanowić wkład w badania nad nowoczesną architekturą Teresiny, analizując ewolucję ruchu modernistycznego w mieście na podstawie krajobrazu, a nie tylko pojedynczych budynków. Zastosowana metodologia będzie obejmowała badania historyczne i architektoniczne.
