AIdiot generation? Why Artificial Intelligence Isn’t the Problem - We Are

Artificial Intelligence isn’t destroying our world. We are. In this explosive and deeply researched book, Vincenzo Amoruso delivers a brutal, necessary truth: the real threat in the age of AI isn’t the technology-it’s the humans using it without judgment, discipline, or responsibility. We blame algorithms for misinformation, distraction, addiction, and cultural collapse. But behind every 'AI failure' is a human who outsourced thinking, delegated responsibility, or chose convenience over competence. The AIdiot Generation exposes how we are sabotaging ourselves:We use AI to replace effort instead of amplifying intelligence. We flood the internet with synthetic garbage and call it 'content.'We trust machines more than experts-and then blame machines when things go wrong. We mistake speed for productivity, quantity for quality, and automation for progress. We are building a world optimized for engagement, not truth.Drawing on psychology, sociology, philosophy, and cutting‑edge research on AI behavior, Amoruso shows how our cognitive laziness, institutional shortcuts, and cultural addiction to convenience are creating a civilization that looks efficient-but is quietly collapsing. This book is not anti‑AI. It is anti‑stupidity. If you want to understand what AI is really doing to our minds, our institutions, and our future, this is the book you need. Sharp, fearless, and uncompromising, The AIdiot Generation is a wake‑up call for anyone who still believes technology is the problem. It isn’t. We are.
