A integração da Tecnologia no ensino e na aprendizagem tem sido amplamente observada como o futuro da educação. Os professores das escolas médias, escolas secundárias e universidades de todo o mundo começam a utilizar Agile para criar uma cultura de aprendizagem. Agile é fundamentalmente sobre aprendizagem, pessoas, e mudança - três coisas com que também lutamos na educação. Agile ou Scrum é uma estrutura para gerir projectos de software e desenvolvimento de produtos ou aplicações. O seu foco é 'uma estratégia de desenvolvimento de produto flexível e holística onde uma equipa de desenvolvimento trabalha como uma unidade para atingir um objectivo comum' em oposição a uma 'abordagem tradicional e sequencial'. Scrum permite a criação de equipas auto-organizadas, encorajando a co-localização de todos os membros da equipa, e a comunicação verbal entre todos os membros da equipa e disciplinas no projecto. Agile ou Scrum poderia resolver muitos problemas significativos em ambientes educacionais: a remoção de impedimentos por um ScrumMaster escolar; o estabelecimento de propriedade e papéis; e a implementação de práticas partilhadas, etc.
