Sobre IBD

An ubridled proliferation of human population, has generated interest in the areas of Limnology, Fish and Wildlife Ecology, as well as Biology. A corollary to this fact has come in the form of an increased pressure upon water and land resources. Further aggravation of this problem has been caused by the allied incidence of pollution, deforestation and the near extinction of wildlife. Consequently, the very survival of mankind is threatened. The only re-deeming factor is that among the people in general and scientists in particular, an increased awareness of the ecological problem is very much there now. This has generated a considerable volume of research work, in Indian as well as aboroad. The present volume is a part of a series of such volumes that shall attempt to reflect the latest as well as original research work, related to these environmental issues.
