'河北省永年县广府古城是杨式、武式太极拳发源地。太极拳由此走向世界。杨式太极拳是由广府南关人杨禄禅所创,是太极拳主要流派之一,杨家历代武功铁事名扬天下。杨式太极拳历经杨家三代研习,后由杨禄禅之孙杨澄甫将八十五势拳架定型。杨式太极拳是以易经、力学、医学哲理,融武术搏击和祛病、健身、养生为一体的功法,为造福人类做出了巨大贡献,学习者遍布世界。为了让学者更好地学习和了解,应弟子和广大学者要求,我作为杨式太极拳第五代传人,有责任和义务将恩师傅宗元先生所传授的、杨澄甫定型拳架和器械及其推手功法,汇集成书供大家学习和探讨。作者简介　乔振兴，男，汉族，1956年生于河北省永年县广府南街，杨式太极拳第五代传人，傅宗元大师的弟子。中国武术协会会员、武术六段，永年县太极拳协会副秘书长，广府太极拳协会副会长，广府太极拳年会副会长，永年振兴太极拳研究会会长，永年太极拳培训基地总教练，广府太极武馆总教练，永年太极拳名师，杨式太极拳、非物质文化遗产传承人。　　广府是杨、武式太极拳发源地。笔者生在太极拳圣地，祖祖辈辈崇尚太极拳。因笔者居住的周围都是太极拳正宗传人，如傅钟文、傅宗元、白忠信（杨班侯外孙）、郝从文、李迪生、关子敬等众位老师，相距百米以内。自幼耳濡目染太极拳奇闻轶事，目睹太极拳大师的威武英姿，崇拜大师们的高超武艺，向往将来有一天能做他们的传人，从此立志要弘扬太极，造福人民。
