Questo lavoro riflette sulla decolonizzazione dell’Angola e sulla proclamazione della sua indipendenza tra gli anni Cinquanta e Settanta. Lo studio esamina gli incidenti chiave, come gli eventi del 4 gennaio, 4 febbraio e 15 marzo 1961, che fecero pressione sul governo portoghese affinché concedesse l’indipendenza. Questi eventi segnarono l’inizio della lotta armata per la liberazione, con particolare attenzione ai massacri nel nord dell’Angola. Il documento analizza anche il passaggio da una guerra anticoloniale ai conflitti interni durante l’indipendenza e sottolinea che la vittoria fu sia militare che politica.
