Bien que les technologies de l’information soient intégrées dans les soins de santé depuis relativement longtemps, l’utilisation des dossiers médicaux électroniques (DME) est limitée et les cliniciens rencontrent encore des difficultés dans l’utilisation des DME, qui sont souvent considérés comme une charge de travail supplémentaire et une source d’épuisement professionnel. La perception des professionnels de la santé est un facteur essentiel de la réussite ou de l’échec du processus de mise en œuvre. De plus en plus de DME sont mis en œuvre dans les pays en développement, mais on sait peu de choses sur l’utilisation des DME dans ces pays. Dans cette étude, les expériences et les attitudes des infirmières égyptiennes à l’égard des DME ont été explorées.
