The study’s findings suggest a positive outlook on technology adoption among SHG women, with widespread usage and comfort with various technological devices and services. There is a belief in the potential of technology to facilitate self-assessment processes, and social networks play a significant role in disseminating information about new technology and trends. These observations underscore the importance of considering social dynamics and community networks in promoting technology adoption and utilization among marginalized populations. The SHGs play a crucial role in empowering women, improving financial inclusion, and fostering community development. Efforts to address challenges and enhance the functioning of SHGs can further amplify their positive impact on members’ lives and the broader community. A significant proportion of respondents perceived an increase in communication skills within SHGs, indicating the effectiveness of SHGs in fostering better collaboration, idea sharing, conflict resolution, and decision-making among members.
