This book is beautifully illustrated by artist Chris Engelhardt. Many of the fine pencil sketches were actually completed in the field as the events of the story in the book took place. A primary character, Captian David Drewry provides the forward with the insight only a grizzled old veteran guide could muster. Wrapping it all up is Jason Otto, John´s brother, hunting partner, and best friend. Jason also lends his skills as a sketch artist, illustrating his own written addition.
