A importância da Educação Ambiental é relevante no contexto das Escolas Públicas de Ensino Fundamental, podendo ser considerada uma das formas de se conquistar uma sociedade sustentável, como também uma forma de transformá-las em espaços de conscientização ambiental. Este trabalho teve como objetivo a necessidade de investigar a importância da Educação Ambiental nas Escolas Públicas de Ensino Fundamental na visão de gestores, professores e pais dos alunos, caracterizando na Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Padre Chiquinho a importância do preparo do educador no ano de 2019, com enfoque na temática ambiental no ensino fundamental, identificar as dificuldades enfrentadas pelo educador nas escolas e discutir as fases da Educação Ambiental do ensino formal e não formal. Após discorrer sobre a importância da Educação Ambiental no âmbito escolar e familiar, apresentamos os gráficos explicativos para cada um dos três questionários aplicados. 10
