Introdução: O objetivo deste trabalho é avaliar o grau de satisfação dos alunos do 3º ano do ano letivo de 2022-2023 com a aprendizagem através do método de simulação de baixa fidelidade. Em seguida, discutir o contributo desta técnica e os meios que permitem melhorar estas sessões de simulação. Método: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo transversal baseado num inquérito epidemiológico. Realizado na Faculdade de Medicina Dentária de Monastir, foram incluídos no estudo 146 estudantes inscritos no 3.º ano de Medicina Dentária no ano letivo de 2022-2023. Resultados e discussão: Os estudantes foram quase unânimes quanto aos benefícios deste método de aprendizagem. Permitiu-lhes assimilar melhor o conteúdo das disciplinas de OCE e aproximou a prática médica, facilitando a abordagem dos futuros pacientes. Os alunos mostraram-se igualmente satisfeitos com a fase de briefing e com a fase de desenvolvimento dos cenários. Conclusão: a experiência de simulação foi um sucesso para os alunos que participaram no nosso trabalho e que ficaram satisfeitos com a sua integração no seu currículo pedagógico.
