صحة الأسرةدراسة عن صحة الأسرة في تربةالمملكة العربية السعوديةبين يدي القارئ الطبعة الثالثة من كتاب 'صحة الأسرة .. دراسة عن صحة الأسرة في مجتمع تربة بالمملكة العربية السعودية' . الدراسة أجريت في مجتمع تربة بالمملكة العربية السعودية على مرحلتين . الأولى في عام 1967 وكانت عبارة عن بحث ميداني لنيل درجة الدكتوراة في الصحة العامة ، والثانية أجريت عبر زيارات متفرقة لمجتمع تربة على مدى 12 عاما . الدراسة تدور أساسا حول صحة الأسرة والرعاية الصحية الأولية لمجتمع قروى في المملكة العربية السعودية في مرحلة تاريخية معينة . والنتائج التي يبرزها الكتاب لا تمثل الوضع الحالي ونحن في عام 2019 . ولكنها تصور لمحات من الماضي مما قد يساعد القارئ على تصور الفوارق في الرعاية الصحية الأولية بين الماضي والحاضر . تخلص الدراسة الى أمرين . أولهما أن صحة السكان في المجتمع لا تتأثر بالخدمات الصحية المقدمة لهم بقدر ما تتأثر بالعوامل الإقتصادية والإجتماعية والثقافية ، والأمر الثاني أن العامل الرئيس المؤثر على الرعاية الصحية في كل مستوياتها هو طريقة إعداد العاملين الصحيين والمنهج الذي تنتهجه كليات الطب والمعاهد الصحية في إعدادهم . أضف الى ذلك النظام الصحي السائد في المجتمع . نرجو أن يسهم الكتاب في فهم أعمق لطبيعة الرعاية الصحية الأولية وأبعادها وعلاقتها بصحة الأسرة .المؤلف حاصل على درجة الدكتوراة في الصحة العامة من جامعة جونز هوبكنز بأمريكا ، وأستاذ طب الأسرة والمجتمع بجامعات المملكة ، ومستشار لمنظمة الصحة العالمية ، ورئيس المجلس العلمي العربي لطب الأسرة والمجتمع سابقا.
