В данной работе рассматриваются основные понятия теории вооруженных конфликтов, которые необходимо применять в провинции Итури, известной как неотъемлемая часть неспокойной зоны востока Демократической Республики Конго, и тем более, поскольку так- под названием Война в Итури, которая продолжалась с 1998 по 2007 год. Этот район характеризуется повсеместной нестабильностью и циклическими вооруженными конфликтами с начала 1990-х годов. С 2017 года в Итури возобновилась волна жестоких нападений, в результате которых погибли десятки конголезцев и были изгнаны десятки. еще тысяч. Это насилие переросло в вооруженный конфликт.
