花蓮港口國小位處偏鄉，屬於阿美族部落，這是一所很美麗的校園，港口國小的學區豐濱鄉港口村，是人口僅800人的小漁村，青壯人口外移到都會區工作，留下的中高齡居民以捕魚、打零工過活。但目前因少子化，加上村里人口外移，招生人數嚴重不足，雖然學生人數不多，不過教職人員都很用心教學，政府給於的資源非常的充足，而偏鄉小學所面臨的困境，而非我們過去所認知的那個樣子。透過這趟旅程，似乎我們對於偏鄉小學又更深了瞭解一些，我們很享受在這個美麗的校園裡，有著獨特的原民風土裝置藝術，看著孩子們開心的遊玩著，以及紀錄了師生間的互動。也看見，透過教學以及透過音樂保留傳統原住民文化資產的寶貴，更希望港口國小的孩子有一天也能將阿美族的古歌謠唱進國際。讓我們一起來探索港口國小之美吧！
