La muerte de Arturo, publicada en 1485 por William Caxton el primer impresor de Inglaterra, es la versión que hizo sir Thomas Malory sobre la historia del rey Arturo y los caballeros de la Mesa Redonda, compuesta por ideas originales del autor e interpretaciones anteriores de la misma leyenda. La obra de Malory consiste en una amplia reelaboración de los principales textos franceses e ingleses de la tradición artúrica, entre los cuales están el Lanzarote-Graal y el Brut de Layamon. La muerte de Arturo inspiró obras posteriores, como la novela de John Steinbeck Los hechos del rey Arturo y sus nobles caballeros o la pentalogía The Once and Future King (1938-1977), titulada en español Camelot, de T. H. White
