Agnihotri is also a well-known Indian poet and fiction writer, having published 16 books in Hindi and English in India and abroad. He obtained master’s degrees in English, political science, and music (vocal), and became a member of both the academic council and faculties of languages at Panjabi University, Patiala in Punjab, India. The author was recently honored with the Dr. Radha Krishnan and Mother Teresa Gold Medals. The International Tamil University, Maryland (USA) conferred upon him the honorary title of doctor of letters. Dr. Agnihotri lives in Malerkotla, a historical city in Punjab.
