Dabei sollen folgende Fragen beantwortet werden: Wie ist Huntingtons Theorie aufgebaut? Bildet sie eine Basis, um Konflikte in der Welt zu begreiflich zu machen? Um diese Fragen zu beantworten, soll zunächst der Begriff der Kultur näher beschrieben werden. Daraufhin soll Huntingtons Theorie vorgestellt und dabei zentrale Begriffe wie Kulturkreise und Bruchlinienkriege näher definiert werden. Nach einer kritischen Betrachtung der Theorie schließt ein Schlussfazit die Arbeit ab.
