Zależne od tych czynników zachowania związane z poszukiwaniem opieki zdrowotnej są złożonym wynikiem wielu czynników funkcjonujących na kilku poziomach, takich jak czynniki społeczno-ekonomiczne i kulturowe, które wpływają na ich pozorne potrzeby i popyt. Porównaliśmy zachowania związane z poszukiwaniem opieki zdrowotnej na poziomie gospodarstwa domowego między miejską i wiejską strefą Esera Woreda Dawro w południowo-zachodniej Etiopii. Metody: Porównawcze badanie przekrojowe przeprowadzono wśród miejskich i wiejskich gospodarstw domowych w Esera Woreda Dawro Zone w południowo-zachodniej Etiopii od lutego do maja 2015 roku. Łącznie 394 gospodarstwa domowe (132-miejskie, 262-wiejskie), wybrane za pomocą prostej losowej techniki próbkowania, zostały proporcjonalnie rozmieszczone. Zachowania związane z poszukiwaniem opieki zdrowotnej były wyższe wśród miejskich gospodarstw domowych (80,7%) niż wiejskich (48,1%).
