WELCOME to Your NEXT 40 Days of holy reflection. Jesus gave an extraordinary speech to a large crowd - what is called The Sermon on the Mount, from the Gospel of Matthew, Chapters 5, 6 and 7. His teachings began with a series of short blessings, called the Beatitudes. For example:Blessed are the Poor in Spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of HeavenBlessed are the Peacemakers, for they will be called Children of God, and moreNext, Jesus spoke of being:Salt and LightOf taking OathsTo Love Your EnemiesTo give to the Needy - and so, so much more... This Christian Devotional talks about each of those teachings of Jesus, to be read over the next 40 Days. It shares not only insights in each day’s Scripture, but how Jesus masterfully connected and prioritized the elements of HIs famous Sermon on the Mount. You will indeed be blessed by the insights of God’s Holy Spirit and the Gospel of Matthew, shared by author David Stoeckl.
