Your History Is Not Your Destiny is a powerful memoir and guide to transformation, resilience, and faith. This book offers an unflinching look at the realities of failure, redemption, and rebuilding a life that matters. Rather than allowing his past to define him, Kelvin chose to break the cycle. Through faith, mentorship, accountability, and daily discipline, he reshaped his life, becoming a devoted husband, father, leader, and builder of programs that help others reenter society with dignity and hope.Structured around themes of identity, decision-making, and perseverance, the book moves from Kelvin’s lowest points to his hard-won victories. Readers witness his transformation as he reclaims his name, learns to face the man in the mirror, and survives betrayal and devastating loss while rebuilding from the ground up. With every chapter, he offers hard-earned lessons on character, emotional growth, leadership, and the courage to keep moving forward when quitting would be easier. This is not a story about theory. It is truth forged in pain, tested by adversity, and sustained by faith. Kelvin’s testimony proves that your past may shape you, but it does not define your future. More than just a memoir, Your History Is Not Your Destiny is an invitation: an invitation to believe in redemption, to embrace second chances, and to live out the truth that transformation is possible for anyone willing to do the work.Kelvin Lee is an Entrepreneur, Certified Drug Counselor, ReEntry Expert, and Real Estate Investor.
