What do you think shapes our identity? Is it your family? Your environment? Your peers/friends? Our own minds? As you read through this book, different characters will be introduced to in you in which everyone are unique individuals but at the same time are influenced largely from other entities outside of themselves. Family on the other hand serves as a foundation and for some, the family are the only ones they have. But think about your best friend or your boyfriend / girlfriend. Think about the relationship itself that makes a person fulfill such titles as: best friend, boyfriend / girlfriend. Aren’t these relationships unique from other relationships you may have? In this life that we share, we also share such things as pleasure and agony. We all face these things that life deals us the best way we know how whether looked upon as being good or bad. The choices we make and the way we deal with things has a lot to do with our individual experiences as well as what we have learned from the people around us. There are stages in life in which we all go through as part as human development. These stages should be passed through productively in order to productively continue to grow (within the norms of society). If one is unsuccessful with a stage, even if one moves on to the next stage, they will still have to at some point address and successfully complete that stage in order to function to the best of one’s ability. It may also effect how an individual passes effectively through the next stages. Does having insight outside of self and having self- awareness help an individual better cope with life? You be the judge. CHOICES - You have to be part of the world in order to take advantage of what’s in it. If you surround yourself with negativity, then negativity you will get in return. Does such behavior affect the positive things that could be within your path? Think about the people you surround yourself with on a daily basis? Think about the things you do on a daily basis to consume your time? Why? You would probably say because, 'I feel like it'. But do you really? Stay real to yourself and stop small talkingKeep money in your pocket or keep on walking. Drama comes in many shapes and formsAnd if your raised in the ghettoThen you should know the norms.

The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

    Edward V Bonner
The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular. Most of the poems examine the themes of beauty and risk, pleasure and danger, in the context of one of three kinds of relationships: to romantic partners, to the spiritual world, and to the world of nature....
