Yah sab kavitaen kisee sonchee samajhee gaee muhim ke tahat nahin likhee gaee. Inki apni alag asmita hai, main bas maadhyam bhar hoo. Yah us peedhee kee auraton ke shabd chitr hain jinhonne apne aap se pahale apnon ke baare mein soncha. Vah anavarat aur athak parishram karatee rahee parivaaron ke liye.Inheen parivaaron se samaaj, raashtr aur vishv banata hai. Prashn yah uthata hai ki kya sachmuch kabhee in auraton ko inake kaam ke lie samaaj, raashtr ka star to bhool jaie, kya gharon parivaaron mein bhee inhen saraaha hee gaya ho, koi sammaan ya phir pahachaan milee ho. Inke bheetar is baat ka kaheen daba dhaka aakrosh hai, to kaheen maun sveekaarya hai, kaheen to shaayad soch-samajh bhee nahin hai. Shabd to door kee baat hai shaayad aabhaas bhee nahin hai.Jin aashaon mein unhonne sab kiya vah keval bhram hee nikale . Ye sabakee sab apane hee desh mein pravaasiyon ka sa jeevan jeene ko majaboor hotee aaee hain. Apne ghar parivaar, gaanv, shahar desh chhodakar nai jagah visthaapit hotee raheen hain. Ye sab kuchh saamaanya aur sahaj hota raha hai.Maine apani Zindagee mein apne aas paas auraton aur khud ko saalon-saal bina kisi shikave shikaayat ke roj ek sa kaam karate dekha hai jisamen na koee tanakhaah milati hai na pramoshan, na koi puraskaar. Yahan tak ki vah prashansa ke kuchh bolon ke lie bhi mohataaz rahatee hain . Mujhe in kavitaon mein un par kabhee pyaar aaya hai , kabhee gussa . Yah sab kavitaen unheen auraton ki Zindagiyon ke shabd chitr hain.

  • Polishing the Silver
    Jennifer Chrystie
‘There’s a touch of both Dickinson and Larkin in Jennifer Chrystie’s mature exhumation of the tales and tropes of family. Figures who could so easily flit like phantoms in her well honed poetry are palpably enjoying an after-life in the poet’s ability to redeem through deep understanding. The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

  • One Kiss
    Edward V Bonner
The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular. Most of the poems examine the themes of beauty and risk, pleasure and danger, in the context of one of three kinds of relationships: to romantic partners, to the spiritual world, and to the world of nature....
