The story emphasizes resilience, gratitude, and the moral value of hard work, while portraying the bond between generations and the sustaining power of hope.The book also includes a traditional-style fairytale embedded within it: the tale of King Casimir, Princess Amira, and the ghoul Grime. This tale highlights bravery, cleverness, and the triumph of good over evil, as the young hero Hasan-helped by Willow-defeats the monster through courage and persistence.Together, these parallel narratives present a blend of cultural memory and universal moral lessons.
