Wyniki dostarczyły kilku interesujących spostrzeżeń. Dzieci medytujące osiągały znacznie lepsze wyniki w nauce w porównaniu z dziećmi niepraktykującymi medytacji. Wydaje się to mieć miejsce niezależnie od płci dziecka i klasy, do której uczęszcza. 1. Dzieci medytujące osiągają lepsze wyniki w nauce niż dzieci niepraktykujące medytacji. 2. Znaczna część rodziców dzieci medytujących stwierdziła, że ich dzieci wykazują lepsze umiejętności radzenia sobie w życiu, więcej pozytywnych cech osobowości i mniej cech negatywnych niż dzieci, które nie medytują. 3. Osoby medytujące śpią mniej godzin niż osoby nie medytujące. Mają również mniej problemów ze snem niż ta druga grupa. 4. Zdaniem nauczycieli uczniowie medytujący wykazują lepszą zdolność skupienia uwagi w porównaniu z uczniami nie medytującymi. 5. Według ocen nauczycieli osoby medytujące miały mniej problemów emocjonalnych, behawioralnych i zdrowotnych w porównaniu z osobami niepraktykującymi medytacji. 6. Cechy osobowościowe, oceniane przez nauczycieli, okazały się bardziej pozytywne u osób medytujących w porównaniu z osobami niepraktykującymi medytacji. Medytacja jako metoda zapobiegania stresowi może stać się częścią programu nauczania w szkołach już od klas podstawowych, przyczyniając się tym samym do rozwoju społeczeństwa wolnego od problemów.
