Niniejsze badania naukowe podkreślają 'Znaczenie dzieł literackich dla transformacji społeczeństwa' w odniesieniu do studium przypadku społeczności Gahini w dystrykcie Kayonza w Rwandzie. Społeczność Gahini została uznana za obszar badań literackich ze względu na jej szczególną historię od czasów misyjnych w Afryce, zwłaszcza w Afryce Wschodniej, a także w Rwandzie. Ramy teoretyczne do przeprowadzenia tego badania akademickiego obejmują: Wzorcowych autorów dzieł literackich, zwłaszcza Afrykanów, takich jak Ngũgĩ wa Thiongʼo z jego obecnymi dziełami literackimi, Chinua Achebe, Wole Soyinka... Ich dzieła literackie miały kluczowe znaczenie we wpływaniu i przekształcaniu różnych społeczeństw. Bez literatury nie ma społeczeństwa, a literatura jest zwierciadłem społeczeństwa.
