Das Verhalten von Teilnehmern in Konfliktgesprächen ist wesentlich angeleitet von ihren Sichtweisen auf ihren Streit, also von ihren Auffassungen darüber, 'was damals wirklich passiert ist', 'worum es eigentlich geht', 'wer schuld ist' usw. Auf der Grundlage solcher Sichtweisen konstruieren die Streitparteien ihre Konflikt-Wirklichkeit. Mit dem analytischen Instrument der Gesprächsanalyse wird untersucht, wie sich diese Sichtweisen herausbilden, verfestigen, latent wirksam werden, zusätzlichen Zündstoff im Gespräch schaffen und Einigungsmöglichkeiten verstellen.
