Wormwood 02 It Starts With An Earthquake...

An ancient earthquake. A modern callout. One people divided by time - and faith. In 907 AD, a massive earthquake along the New Madrid fault tears open the ceiling of an underground cave system. Young Mandan brave Na-cii follows a beam of blinding sunlight into a world he never knew existed - a surface realm of endless sky, vast herds of buffalo, and unimaginable beauty. His discovery forces the hidden Mandan tribe to make a fateful choice: remain in the safety of their subterranean home or ascend into a bright, dangerous new world. The decision splits the tribe forever.More than a thousand years later, in the spring of 2031, the signs of the Last Days accelerate. As earthquakes intensify and political divisions tear at the fabric of society, modern Latter-day Saint families face their own moment of decision. Brad and Sarah, newly engaged, return from a romantic trip to historic York, England, only to find the world around them growing increasingly unstable. Meanwhile, the Steed family and thousands of others hear a prophet’s urgent call to gather into Cities of Light - temporary tent communities prepared in the mountains as places of refuge and covenant.Leaving homes, careers, and comfort behind, faithful Saints step into the unknown, building white tent cities that glow with both literal and spiritual light. Yet not all who hear the call will follow. As doubt, fear, and everyday normalcy pull at hearts, each person must decide whether to trust the still, small voice or remain behind.Blending scripture, science, and prophecy, Wormwood 02 continues the sweeping saga begun in Wormwood 01: Discovery.
