In a World of Manufactured Faith and false light, what is the cost of truth. One man’s struggle to decide if it’s worth it.In a city where faith has been perfected and packaged, truth is more dangerous than anything. Ethan Ward helped build the systems that keep the city believing. Churches are a performance show or concert. Sermons are an algorithm Salvations are clean and on time and unquestioned. But then a single unapproved message breaks thru broadcast 'You are Dying in Here'. Ethan realizes the world he helped create is actually empty. As reality begins to fracture, he discovers corruption beneath the city’s shining surface. Shadows move on their own and reflections that don’t obey. There is also a signal inside the noise that is calling him by name. His search leads him beyond the glass front into a forgotten district where belief has been engineered but also resistance still survives. He meets Kira. She is marked by the signal itself along with others that sense that there is something ancient that has been awakened within the code of the city. Together they uncover a truth that has been long buried. The world is not just controlled by machines but also a false light designed to replace faith with imitation and obedience. It is a book that is a faith based dystopian novel series that is about awakening in a world of illusion where the battle is not just for control of the city, but for the soul of humanity itself.

Stuart Evans’s first novel is a comedy-of-ill-manners set in a nouveau riche milieu: a fantastic satirical performance and hyper-referential homage to masters past and present. Paul Keller is the Stephen Dedalus of the piece, the son of Robert and Sylvie, whose internal monologue is spliced into the action, and whose incestuous feelings for his sister lead to an increase in his...
