She uniquely lends words to the otherwise indescribable bonds that connect us to our humanity. Michelle T. Stucky graduated from Bloomsburg University with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications. She was a Producer at MSNBC for nearly a decade before pursuing her passion for animal welfare. She became certified as a New Jersey Animal Control Officer and Cruelty Investigator and has worked as a Veterinary Technician. Embracing her love of writing, Ms. Stucky was inspired to compose poetry and song lyrics and says her life has offered much motivation for her work. For 30 years, putting pen to paper has been her favorite way to achieve “writing resolution” of her feelings. Ms. Stucky has also written a series of children’s books, based upon her real-life adventures during animal welfare calls. She shares her home with her husband, daughter, son, rescued Pit Bull / Retriever mix, and three formerly stray cats. Ms. Stucky has earned her black belt in martial arts and has played competitive volleyball since high school. She also enjoys reading, baking, singing, and assisting her community with Trap - Neuter - Return of feral cats. 3
