Wilde Z

WILDE ZThe dead are walking. The government is lying. And Hannah Wilde is the only one who knows the truth.Investigative journalist Hannah Wilde thought she was chasing a chemical spill cover-up at Mercy General. What she found was a Code Black nightmare: a patient pronounced dead at 1:50 A.M. sitting up and feeding on the staff twenty minutes later. Now, Hannah is holding the smoking gun of Project Lazarus-a classified bio-weapons program designed to turn corpses into unkillable soldiers. But the weapon has malfunctioned, and the infection is spreading. The government isn’t trying to cure it. They are trying to bury it.Targeted by a shadow agency known only as the Cleaners, Hannah watches her life disintegrate. Her sources are liquidated. Her apartment is scrubbed. Her identity is erased. With nothing left but a stolen hard drive and a 'scattergun' she barely knows how to use, Hannah must race from the concrete canyons of New York to the zero-point of the outbreak in the Midwest. In a world where Safe Zones are death camps and trust is a liability, Hannah discovers that the only thing more dangerous than the undead is the people pretending to save us.She has the story of the century. She just has to live long enough to tell it.WILDE Z is an explosive prequel to the bestselling Battlefield Z series. Perfect for fans of post-apocalyptic thrillers, government conspiracies, and grit-fueled survival fiction.
