'Whom my soul loveth' is a tale of relations involving three countries, Lebanon, Britain, and the USA, engulfed and soaked in cultures that have taken centuries to blossom and to develop on the beautiful Mount Lebanon, under the evergreen branches of the eternal cedar trees, east of the romantic Mediterranean Sea.The story is about a beautiful girl, an only child and heiress to one of the wealthiest and most influential families in Lebanon. She was born and raised in a home where she was ingrained in her ways and manners of high society levels, but not religion or true faith. This young woman has a life changing experience through the testimony of her friendship and influence of her Christian classmate and next-door neighbor. The new spiritual experience adopted by this pampered teen-age girl causes her to lose everything she had and what will have. Torn from her home and country, forsaken by her mother and family, she loses her identity and goes through the valley of tears caused by her newly-found spiritual awakening. God, in His mercy and grace, is faithful to that young woman who was found totally faithful in her walk with her Lord. However, through sacrifices in her life and through enduring persecution for His Holy Name, God blesses her by granting her the desire of her heart. As you read this Saga, its exciting events, without any dull moment, will make feel as though you are involved as one of its characters, to the extent you feel compelled not to put the book down, for the anxiety and interest to know what will happen next.It is a must read book, especially for finding what really happened at the end of the story.

“Some shows have warnings for strobe lights. Some have them for loud gunshots.  Some for smoke.   MISSISSIPPI GODDAMN, a new play by Jonathan Norton should have one for intensity.   Granted, anyone attending a play about civil rights pioneer Medgar Evers set in 1963 Jackson, Mississippi, should expect some strife. Blood in the battle for racial equality is no surprise, but f...

    Georges Feydeau / Laurence Senelick
“It seems to me that for fertility in droll inventions, the perpetual outpouring of unforeseen misunderstandings, for the inexhaustible gaiety of dialogue, Feydeau’s new play is superior to everything he’s written so far. The most astonishing thing is the sureness with which everything is controlled, explained, justified, in the most extravagant buffoonery. The cross-purpose...

“Plenty of glamorous backstabbing, diva dissing and sexual double-crossing…has every right to claim the name Dynasty for itself.  But the title character in Betty Shamieh’s bouncy, bumpy comic melodrama is the real thing. A queen, I mean, and not just of the self-dramatizing type. Scratch that. She’s more than a queen. She’s a pharaoh, one Hatshepsut, who reigned over Egypt ...
