In the world around us there is a war going on. A war of good and evil. We see it played out every day. It is an angelic war that has been going on for thousands, maybe millions, of years, but is now being fought here on this Earth. And God, in His Word—the Bible—tells us our enemy, Satan and his demons, come to steal, kill, and destroy. The battle is for our mind and soul and spirit. But God, through His Son Jesus, has given us everything we need to fight these daily battles, whether it be addictions (drugs, alcohol, sex, pornography) or damaging behavior patterns (anger, fear, anxiety, or depression). We can learn to fight for our freedom and not be a prisoner of war. I want to expose the enemy for who he is and show how he operates and reveal some of his schemes and ways of attack.He is a strong enemy that has been causing trouble since the beginning of time. But God has put us here to fight for Him. And even as mere humans created lower than the angels, if we trust and believe in Him, we can do mightier things than the angels and they must flee from us at the name of Jesus.Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."
