This is a detective story as complex as any penned by the famous author, Arthur Conan Doyle, and it uses the same axiom that his legendary sleuth, Sherlock Holmes, used:'Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.'The investigation was stimulated by extraordinary happenings on the film set of ’Monty Python’s Life of Brian’ as witnessed by Julian Doyle, the film’s editor. The crime is the murder of Jesus Christ, and the book unravels the evidence to discover and disclose who was the real guilty party. The four Gospel stories of the death have massive contradictions between them, which are ignored or glossed over. But these contradictions are not mistakes they are, in fact, all true. Not only that but to make sense of them the whole Gospel story unravels, right down to the actual crucifixion which from the experience on the filmBut this detective story does not just end with the discovery of the murderer, because the process accidentally unravels the portentous secret concerning Jesus Christ that has been hinted at over the centuries. Searching links between the history of Rome and the latest Biblical research, the book is able to confront contradictions and anomalies we finally reveal the monumental secret that has been hinted at over the ages.
