Andrew. It was seven o’clock. Kelsey was usually home by now.He Worked a little while longer, but it was no use. Hecouldn’t concentrate. Normally If kelseycame home a little late, it didn’t bother him, but because of what had recentlyhappened, he was beginning to get a little worried. Eight o’clock. This was ridiculous. Where thehell was Kelsey?Kelsey. The tears werefalling steadily by now and had blurred her vision. Kelsey was not payingattention about where she was walking, Just caught upin her own misery. 'Happy Thanksgiving,' She said to nobody inparticular, laughing half-heartedly. Kelsey walked aimlessly down the street, her thoughts a million milesaway. Absentmindedly, she stepped off the curb and into the street. First she heard the screech of tires, followed by ascream. Then she felt pain, and in an instant, everything went black.Andrew and Kelsey were not onlylovers, theywere best friends. They had their shareof ups and downs, but they had managed to keep it together for eightyears. One day things changed. Thehappiness was gone. Laughter was nowhere to be found. They were no longerliving, loving, laughing, simply enjoying each other, but merely existingtogether. Would things ever be the way they once were? Will they laugh again?
