Mateo felt it resonate within him, a sound that seemed to connect heaven and earth. He sat up quickly, the sound vibrating in his chest as he pulled on his simple black robe and joined the line of sleepy seminarians heading for morning prayers. No words were exchanged, only the quiet shuffle of feet on cold stone floors.'
