This book is not a weight loss book with all the answers. It is an adventure book that charts a path through still waters, furious undercurrents and falls that dash off the cliff’s edge. I’ve been on this journey a few times in my life and even though I did not reach my ultimate goal, I learned invaluable lessons that helped propel me closer to my so-much-desired reward of weighing less than 200 pounds. I am not the ultimate authority on weight loss or weight fitness so if that is the kind of book you are looking for, lay this book down and find you another one. I’m on this adventure just as you may be right now or contemplating it in the future. This book is a collection of posts I wrote for a blog that I started a few years ago. When I had a light bulb moment, I wrote about it. One reason for this is that the weight loss or weight fitness journey is a lonely one no matter how many groups you belong to. Everyone has a slightly different path to travel. One weight loss plan works for me, but another one may work better for you. Never give up. You may need to revise some things because exercising has challenges which preclude walking the 8 to 10,000 steps you’re accustomed to walking. Joints problems may restrict other types of movement but never give up movement of some type.
