Fate says 'whaterver is, must be.' Providence says, Whatever God ordains, must be.' Providence enables believers to trace God’s hand by faith; fate is man’s solution to chaos and catastrophe in human events.This book is intendended as a devotional for the reader to reflect on and inwardly digest. The sermons selected highlight six principles: first, God exercises care and kindness in small things and overrules all things for His glory; second, God’s presence is discernable in all creation; third, His children can trust Him for their daily bread and usefulness; fourth, God speaks through His Word and Spirit; fifth, the divine hand rules all individually and collectively; sixth, God’s providence is uniform and manageable by the unchanging God.
